Royal Oak Civic Foundation’s First Fundraiser
The newly formed Royal Oak Civic Foundation held its first fundraiser to focus on hunger in the community. They selected three non-profits to be the recipients for the proceeds of this event. Fueling Kids’ Futures-Royal Oak was selected along with Open Hands Food Pantry and Salvation Army.
Royal Oak Civic Foundation used half of a gift from the Robertson Brothers as a matching $7,500 grant for these organizations. This would allow the Foundation to provide up to $15,000 in funds to support hunger initiatives in the Community.
Thank you, Royal Oak Civic Foundation, for selecting Fueling Kids’ Futures-Royal Oak and your generous donation which will allow this program to continue feeding hunger-insecure children for the 2021-2022 school year.
