COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Fueling Kids’ Futures-Mount Clemens – In the Mount Clemens Schools 90% of the children are eligible for the Fueling Kids’ Futures program. These children are our neighbors. The goal of Fueling Kids’ Futures is to keep these students from going hungry on the weekends and remove barriers to academic success.
Each week, volunteers distribute bags filled with enough non-perishable food for the weekend to students that qualify on the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. Dedicated volunteers have packed the bags each week during the school year since the program began sending bags home in the fall of 2015.
Each year Fueling Kids’ Futures-Mount Clemens has been very successful in funding their program using the old fashion method of a direct ask by letter. Again in 2021 letters will be going out. If you are one of the persons, organizations or companies who receive this letter, we thank you for your past generosity and hope you will continue to support us again this year. Read More…
