COMMUNITY PARTNERS
This is the tenth year of operating the Fueling Kids’ Futures-Wyandotte program for the children in our community. We are currently feeding students throughout our 4 Elementary Schools, Middle and High School. We would like to expand the program to our three Special Education Schools as well.
- $160 provides one child food every weekend (6 meals) for an entire school year
- A full year of funding must be raised in advance to start a new school in the program
- We are currently feeding 500 students – $50,000 annually is needed to maintain our current program.
- 59% of all students in Wyandotte qualify for the Fueling Kids’ Futures program.
- We hope to eventually expand to all schools in Wyandotte as funding is raised.
Please visit this website monthly to see the progress we are making and for upcoming events. More volunteers and community partners are needed to expand and maintain our program. Additional volunteers are needed for ongoing fundraising.

The event in the spring was so successful we have been asked to repeat it this fall. The date will be October 9, 2025 and held again at the Wyandotte F. O. P. Check out the Events page for all of the details. Get your tickets early as this was a sell out in the spring.

Fueling Kids’ Futures – Wyandotte
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Fueling Kids’ Futures Wyandotte hosted their Second Annual Golfing FORE! Ending Hunger charity golf outing at the Wyandotte Shore Golf Course. Rian had been predicted but the day started out overcast and by the time the golfers completed their round the temperatures warmed up and the sun had come out. This allowed us to enjoy lunch on the patio.
We again were very successful in raising money to continue to support the program which provides weekend food to the hunger insecure children attending Wyandotte Public Schools. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the individuals who golfed with us, the companies or individuals who donated an item for the event and lastly to out sponsors. Without all of you this event would not be a success.
